First up, good news!
Governor Evers has used emergency state funds to fully fund November SNAP benefits!
We know that updates to SNAP funding are changing quickly, and we want to reassure you that we are still here to help. Individuals can still submit a request for assistance or financially contribute to support our neighbors in need.
Many families tell us that even with full SNAP benefits, it’s hard to stretch groceries through the month. Please keep communicating openly about what level of support is needed and what can be offered as we continue to navigate changes to SNAP funding.
For Neighbors in Need
Check your QUEST/EBT card—full November benefits should appear soon.
Some accounts may take longer to update, so keep an eye out.
Make sure your contact info with DHS is current for future updates.
If you’ve already been matched: Please let your buddy know if the November SNAP funding changes the amount of grocery support you need right now.
If you haven’t been matched yet: Please let us know if the November SNAP funding changes affect the support you need at this time.
For Volunteer Grocery Buddies
Watch December: Federal SNAP funds for December have not yet been released, and families are preparing for possible gaps in benefits.
If you’ve already been matched: Check in with your buddy to see if the November SNAP funding affects their grocery needs. If you need to update your weekly gift, please let us know.
If you haven’t been matched yet: Please confirm your current level of support so we can pair you with a neighbor as soon as possible.
